Eliza's last name is inferred from two sources: the death records of her children John (Boucher)[1], Michael (Bonchier)[2], and Elizabeth (Buchiere)[3]; and the 1850 census (Eliza Boucher)[4]. Since the 1850 census lists her with Catherine Quinn (born ca. 1818/9) and the 1855 census, where she is married to James Fagan, has a C. Quinn of the same age as a boarder, that suggests that the 1850 census is for the same person.
In the 1855 New York State Census, she is listed as having been born in Ireland and having lived in the city for 22 years, meaning she immigrated around 1822. Eliza's birth date is listed as anywhere from 1829 to 1833 in various census records (1855, 1860, 1865, 1870, 1880; all with husband James Fagan and children).
Her fate after 1880 is unknown.
