Elizabeth, daughter of Johannes Boucher and Catharina Simon, was born on 18 January 1797 and was baptized at Claverack, New York, on 5 March 1797. Witnesses to her baptism were Joseph Boucher and Elizabeth Cookenheim.[1][2]
"Elizabeth Boucher, wife of Christopher Mosier," was recorded as one of the members of the Bethlehem (New York) Reformed Church as of 22 June 1822.[3]
She is named as a daughter and heir in the will her father John Boucher, created on May 5, 1843, and proved on September 25, 1843. His son Jacob Boucher was executor. Children named in the probate record were John A. Boucher, Julia Ann Boucher, Catherine wife of Ralph Buss, all of Schodack; Rachel wife of Joseph Phillips of Nassau, Rensselaer County; Betsy wife of Christopher Mosher of Coeymans (also recorded as Elizabeth Mosher); Maria wife of Robert Selkirk and Sally wife of Richard Kimmey (also recorded as Sally E. Kimmey), all of Bethlehem in Albany County; and Margaret K. Boucher, minor, whose special guardian was John E. Taylor of Troy.[4]
