Joseph Louis was born on 8 January 1744, and was baptized the same day in Boucherville. He was the son of René Boucher, sieur de Labruere, and Marie René de Contrecoeur.[1] He married Marie Catherine Pecaudy de Contrecoeur on 29 August 1768 at Notre-Dame-de-Montréal.[2] He died on 10 March 1813, and was buried three days later in Boucherville.[3]
