Charles Boucher is Notable.

Charles was born in 1856. He was the son of Alfred Boucher and Anne Woodward.

Charles became a clergyman, following in the footsteps of his father, and was an eminent Anglican priest. He attended school at Uppingham and like his brothers was educated at Cambridge. He was ordained in 1879 and began his career as Curate at Northam, Devon after which he was Rector of Frolesworth, Lutterworth and Master of Chief Baron Smith’s Almshouses from 1886 to 1923.

He married on 23 December 1880 to Louisa Mary Wright. She was the daughter of another clergyman, William Henry Wright (the Vicar of St Paul's in Cheltenham). They had three sons and two daughters.

Rev Boucher became an Honorary Canon of Peterborough from 1912 until 1937, and he became the first Archdeacon of Loughborough in 1921.

He passed away in 1940 when he was 83.
