Biography

Joseph was born 20 Apr 1801. He was the son of Pierre Boucher and his wife Marguerite Lebel. He was baptized the next day in St-André de Kamouraska, godparents were Louis Michaud and Marguerite Lizot, no signatures. ^[1]

On 26 Feb 1838, in St-André de Kamouraska, Joseph Boucher adult son of deceased Pierre Boucher and deceased Marguerite Lebel married Olympe Levêque minor daughter of Alexandre Levêque and Marie Anne Chamberland. Several named relatives, no signatures. ^[2]

Joseph Boucher, husband of Olympe Levesques, died 3 Jan 1849 at the age of about 57 years (he was actually 47 years old). He was buried 2 days later in St-André de Kamouraska. ^[3]
