Athanase was born around 1736 in Grand-Pré according to Bona Arsenault. [1] He was the son of François Boudreau and Marguerite Pitre.[2]

He married Félicité Orillon on May 07, 1759 in Notre-Dame-de-Quebec, Québec, Canada, Nouvelle-France.[3] Were present at the ceremony: Timothée Thibodeau a cousin, Anastasie Boudro sister of the groom, Jean-Baptiste Aurillon brother and Marie-Joseph Aurillon sister of the bride, Théotiste Aurillon also a sister, Charles Monnier and many others.
