Jean Louis Israel Boudreau was born on January 1, 1833, and baptized the next day at Saint-Pierre-aux-Liens church in Caraquet, Gloucester County, New Brunswick. His parents were Pierre Boudreau and Angèle Landry[1]
In 1881, Jean Louis and his wife Victoire Légère were living in Caraquet. [2] Their children:

Fabien Boudreau was born around 1863 to Jean-Louis Boudreau and Victoire Légère, in Paquetville, Gloucester County, New Brunswick, Canada.[2] Fabien appears to have lived in Paquetville his whole life. He died there at 71 years old on September 20, 1933, when he resided at Rang Saint-Georges. He was buried in Paquetville. His death was reported by his nephew, Charles Doiron, also resident of Rang St-Georges.[4]
Henriette Boudreau was born around 1866 to Jean-Louis Boudreau and Victoire Légère, in Paquetville, Gloucester County, New Brunswick, Canada.[2] She married 43-year-old widower Germain Thériault (Jean-Baptiste Thériault and Sara Dugas) from Grande-Anse, NB, on August 26, 1894, in Paquetville, Gloucester County, New Brunswick, Canada. The witnesses were Cesair Boudreau from Paquetville, and Sara Therriault from Grande-Anse. [5]
Cesaire Boudreau was born around 1870 to Jean-Louis Boudreau and Victoire Légère, in Paquetville, Gloucester County, New Brunswick, Canada.[2] On January 7, 1896, in Paquetville, NB, 25-year-old farmer Césaire married 18-year-old Marie Leontine Paulin, daughter of the late Jean-Louis Paulin and Reine Légère, from Caraquet, NB. The witnesses were Joseph J. Chenard and Françoise Poulin (?), both from Caraquet, NB. [6]
Pierre Boudreau was born around 1872 to Jean-Louis Boudreau and Victoire Légère, in Paquetville, Gloucester County, New Brunswick, Canada.[2] On February 5, 1894, 22-year-old Pierre Boudreault married 21-year-old Priscile Haché, daughter of Pierre A Haché and Romaine Chiasson, in Gloucester, New Brunswick, Canada. Husband and wife had been born in and were married in Paquetville, NB. Witnesses were Jacques Thériault and Phebée Haché, both from Paquetville.[7]
Phebée Boudreau was born around 1874 to Jean-Louis Boudreau and Victoire Légère, in Paquetville, Gloucester County, New Brunswick, Canada.[2]. Phoebée married twice. She was nineteen when she married 26-year-old Andre Ache, son of André Ache and Mary Ache, from Lamèque, NB, on August 21, 1893. the marriage registration indicates she was born in Caraquet, and a resident of Lamèque when they married there. Witnesses were Pierre Savoy and Marie Mailloux.[8] After the death of her first husband, Phebée married 63-year-old widowed farmer Lange Savoie (Joseph Savoie and Marie Chenard) on February 5, 1935, in Lamèque, Gloucester, New Brunswick, Canada. Witnesses were Césaire Haché from Lamèque and Albert Savoir from Savoie Landing.[9]
Joseph was born around 1876 to Jean-Louis Boudreau and Victoire Légère, in Paquetville, Gloucester County, New Brunswick, Canada.[2]
Charles was born around 1880 to Jean-Louis Boudreau and Victoire Légère, in Paquetville, Gloucester County, New Brunswick, Canada.[2]
At nineteen-and-a-half, Joséphine Boudreau (Jean Louis Boudreau and Victoire Légère) married 27-year-old Onésime Cormier (late Aimé Corier and Victoire Godin) from Caraquet, NB, on July 1, 1901, in Paquetville, Gloucester, New Brunswick, Canada. Witnesses were Joseph Boudreau and Joséphine Godin, both from Paquetville, NB.[10]
Jean-Louis resided in Village des Boudreau, then Rang St-Georges (Paquetville).
