Biography

Anastasie Boudrot was born about 1744 in Grand Pré, Acadie. She was the daughter of Pierre Boudrot and Marie Doiron.[1][2] [3] [4]She was later listed on a 1767 census as age 16.[citation needed]

Her family moved when she was age 6 because she was counted in the 1752 census at age 8 with her family at Moulin a Scie, Isle St. Jean.[5]

She married Amant Vigneault, son of Jean Baptiste Vigneault and Agnès Poirier, on 12 June 1771.[6][7]

They had the following known children:

  1. Armand Vigneault
  2. Anastasie Victoire Vigneau
  3. Anne Vigneau
  4. Joseph Vigneault
  5. Simon Vigneault
  6. Jean Baptiste Vigneau

They were deported to La Rochelle, France in 1778[8]

She died about 13 August 1782 in France.[8] [9]

    Pierre Boudrot, ploughman, native of l'Acadie, aged 40 years, he has been two years in the country. Married to Marie Duaron, native of l'Acadie, aged 36 years.
    They have two sons and seven daughters:-
    Firmain Boudrot, aged 7 years.
    Jasques, aged 4 years.
    Marie Blanche, aged 18 years.
    Anne, aged 16 years.
    Marie, aged 14 years
    . Magdeleine, aged 12 years.
    Marie, aged 10 years.
    Nastazie, aged 8 years.
    Ufrozinne, aged 6 years.
    Judict, aged 12 days.
    And in live stock four oxen, three cows, three heifers, five ewes, two calves, one sow, six pigs, and ten fowls.
    The land upon which they are settled is situated on the Rivière des Blancs, it was given to them verbally by Monsieur de Bonnaventure. On it thay have made a clearing of eight arpents in extent and have sown five bushels of wheat, eight bushels of oats and one bushel of peas.
