Biography

This profile is part of the Boudreau Name Study.

Hilaire was born and baptized in Annapolis Royal (formerly Port-Royal) on 24 April 1742. [1]

Pierre, his second wife Madeleine Belliveau, and sons Charles, Hilaire, Isaie, Jean and Pierre-David were among the Acadians who escaped the 1755 Deportation by seizing the boat Pembroke which was supposed to transport them to exile in North Carolina.[2]

He married Madeleine Caissie (Joseph & Marie-Josèphe Lapierre) around 1765. They had 6 known children.[3]

Hilaire passed away on 21 October 1808 and was interred the next day in Memramcook.[4][5]
