Marie Marguerite Boudrot was born about 1741 in Acadie, daughter of Jean-Baptiste Boudrot and Catherine Brassaud.[2]

Marie Marguerite (~18) married Benjamin Pitre (~34) on 27 Nov 1759 in La Gousnière, Ille-et-Vilaine, Bretagne, France.[3][2]

They were on a census in Lafourche Louisiana on 1 January 1788. She is 47 years old and head of her household with five children on 6 arpents of land. They have no slaves, 20 quarts of corn and 1 pig. [6]
