His father died and was buried on 20 Apr 1765 at age 35 years in St. Servan, Ille-et-Vilaine, France; his mother had died the year before. He went to reside with Joseph BELLEMERE. [He was married to Marguerite BOUDROT, probably the child's aunt. Was Joseph his godfather; same name?]
