I was born at Tygerberg hospital in Bellville, Cape Province, Republic of South Africa on 26 March 1977. Growing up I was privileged to have my Ouma Frieda Olivier (nee Burger) look after me during the day, while my mom worked. I remember vividly how we played in her garden as kids. She loved nature and taught me all I know about birds and plants. I matriculated at the age of 17 in 1994. I was introduced to my husband by my brother Deon in January of 2006 and got married in August of 2007. We have three children. I love art, music, reading and genealogy. I am a potter by profession and I specialise in handbuilding. I teach ceramics at an art school in Boston, Bellville.

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.
Add the project tag to your Following list to be kept up to date on any activity that occurs for that project.
Can't find what you're looking for? Let me know, and I can make some suggestions! :-)
