Biography
Nelson, born about 1812, married Mary Root of Clinton Township in 1833. At the time of their marriage, he lived in Beamsville.[1] By 1851 they had moved to Townsend Township, Norfolk County.[2][3][4] In 1881 Nelson was a widower, lived in Waterford, Norfolk, and was a magistrate.[5] He died in 1887.[6]
