Lucy Bouck was born in Canada, the daughter of Jacob and Rose McGinn Bouck. She was living in Matilda Township, Dundas County, Canada West in 1851[1] and 1861.[2]) By 1885, widowed Lucy and her mother joined her brother John Bouck on his farm in Long Lake Township, Crow Wing County, Minnesota.[3][4]A later census identified her as having entered the US in 1865 and the mother of two living children.[5]
Lucy married widower Anthony Nolan in Brainerd, Minnesota when she was about 52 years old.[6][7] They separated in 1904, about three years before Anthony died.[8]
She was living with her nephew and widowed sister-in-law in 1920[9] and died later than year at age 77.[10][11] She is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Brainerd, Minnesota.[12]
