Louis Boulaquet was born and baptised on 24 September 1744 in Montréal (ND), son of Étienne Boulaquet and of Marie Louise Cussot.[1]

Louis Boulague dit St-Amour first married on 5 November 1764 in Longueuil (Saint-Antoine-de-Padoue) with Ursule Campeau, daughter of the late Étienne Campeau and of the late Louise Boire.[2] They had 4 known children, 1 known to die young and 1 to marry. Ursule died in 1778, at around 40.

Louis Boulague, widowed, remarried on 4 February 1782 in Notre-Dame de Montréal with Marie Ledoux,23 year old daughter of the late François Ledoux dit Latreille and of Marie Anne Lacroix dite Langevin. Among those cited present were his brother Pierre, son Louis Boulague, niece Catherine Boulague. He signs the record Louis Boulardier[3]. They had at least 10 known children, 5 known to die young and 5 to marry. Marie Anne dies on 27 Dec 1827 in Montréal, aged around 7. Louis had passed away in 1825. [4]
