Reuben Boultenhouse was born about 1820, son of John Boultenhouse (~1798 - 1873) and Ann (Evans) Boultenhouse (~1794 - 1868).

Reuben married Abigail Maxwell , daughter of Gideon Maxwell and Jemima Wheaton, on 26 May 1842 in Westmorland, New Brunswick.[1]
Reuben died on 13 February 1848 and was buried in 1848 in Westcock, Westmorland, New Brunswick, Canada.[2]
