François Bourassa was born 10 Jan 1762 in LaPrairie, Canada, Nouvelle-France. He was the son of Albert Bourassa and Marie Jeanne Brosseau, as confirmed by his baptism and marriage records. [1]
François died at age 84 on 14 December 1846 in Saint-Athanase-de-Bleury (Iberville), Bas-Canada. He was buried on the 16th at the local cemetery. His burial record gave him the age of 90, but having his wife's name in the record confirms it's really him.[3]
