Jeanne-Baptiste de Bourbon was the daughter of Henri IV and his mistress Charlotte des Essarts. She was born on 11 January 1608 an legitimized three months later.

She was 10 when she was sent to the Abbey of Chelles.

She became the 31st abbess of Fontevraud in 1637, at 18.

Jeanne-Baptiste de Bourbon died in 1670 (possibly on 16 January). She was succeeded by Marie-Madeleine-Gabrielle de Rochechouart de Mortemart.
