Biography

Madame Victoire was one of Louis XV and Marie Leczynska's eight daughters.

Along with her younger sisters Félicité, Sophie and Louise, she was raised at Fontevrault Abbey as an economic measure.

Like all her sisters except the eldest, Élisabeth, she never married.

She died in exile in Triest, a few months before her last surviving sister Adélaïde.
