In February 1248, Mathilde married Eudes de Bourgogne (1230-1269), the eldest son of Duke Hugh of Burgundy . Three daughters are born of this marriage:

Yolande de Bourgogne (1248-1280), married in 1268 to Jean Tristan de France , then to Robert de Béthune , who became Count of Flanders in 1305 2 . Margaret of Burgundy (1250-1308), married in 1268 to Charles I st of France , Count of Anjou and Provence and King of Sicily 2 . Alix of Burgundy (died 1290), married in 1268 to Jean I er Chalon (died in 1309) 1 .
