Biography

Anne Bourchier was a member of the aristocracy in British Isles.

Lady Anne Bourchier was the daughter of Sir Edward Bourchier, Earl of Bath^[1][2] and his wife, Dorothy St John.^[3]

Her first husband was James Cranfield, Earl of Middlesex, ^[2]son of Lionel Cranfield and his wife, Anne Brett. Their only surviving child was their daughter, Elizabeth, so that when James died on 16 September 1651 his Earldom was inherited by his brother, Lionel, 3rd Earl of Middlesex. ^[4]

Anne married, as her 2nd husband, Sir Chichester Wrey (or Wray), Bart., ^[1]son of Sir William Wrey and his wife, Elizabeth Chichester^{[3] [2]} They were the parents of 4 sons and a daughter. ^[2]

Anne died in 1662 and was buried at St Giles-in-the-Fields on the 9th of September.^[5]
