Marguerite was born about 1764. She is the daughter of Joseph Bourg and Marguerite Mirault.
Marguerite Bourques, baptized 6 Sept 1767 in L'Assomption, about 3 years old at the time (Acadian born during deportation in Canaticot in (New) England), godfather Paul Landry, surgeon, who signed, godmother Marie Mirau[1]; buried 3 June 1770 in L'Assomption @ around 6[2]
From her parents marriage rehabilitation 9/21/1767: Here is the note written in the text: Who would have been taken from Acadia to Boston, where they would have been detained prisoners for about 12 years and would have taken themselves for husband and wife; they would have of their said union two children, including a daughter named Marguerite aged 3 years and 1 month and the other daughter named Marie aged 1 year and 7 months, who would have been presented and recognized by us, the fathers and mothers of dead or absent spouses [3]
She and two of her siblings (the first three children of this family) died within about two weeks of each other in 1770.
