Biography

Ambroise Bourg was born in 1686 in Port-Royal, Acadie, Nouvelle-France, son of Martin Bourg (~1650 - >1717) and Marie Potet (~1657 - >1717).

Ambroise (~28) married Elisabeth Melanson (~17) (~1697 - >1731) in 1714 in Acadie. Their children were:

  1. Marie Josephe Bourg (1717 - )
  2. Ambroise Bourg (~1722 - )
  3. Pierre Bourg (1727 - ~1758)
  4. Anne Bourg (~1729 - ~1825).

Ambroise died in Aug 1763 in Cobequid, Colony of Nova Scotia aged ~77.
