Listed with Ambroise is his wife Marie Modeste Moulaison and nine of their children: Marie Victoire, Modeste Aimee, Magdelaine, Julie Therese, Isabelle, Joseph, Pelagie, Modeste and Ambroise.^[1]

Married 1st on 1 Jun 1757 at Port-Lajoie, Isle St. Jean, to Anne-Josephe PITRE, daughter of Claude & Isabelle GUERIN; one daughter listed.^[2]

Married 2nd on 12 [sic] Jul 1763 at Ste. Trinite of Cherbourg, Manche [France] to Marie-Modeste MOLAISON, daughter of Jacques & Cecile MELANCON^[3]

On 12 Aug 1785 Ambroise and 2nd wife with 9 children departed from France on the ship "La Ville D'Archangel," which arrived in Louisiana on 3 Dec 1785^[4]
