- When MARIN Francois Bourg was born on April 16, 1792, in Louisiana, his father, Joseph, was 26 and his mother, MARIE, was 17. He married Elizabeth Marceline Jolibois in 1819 in his hometown. They had five children in 11 years. He died on April 28, 1835, in Thibodaux, Louisiana, at the age of 43.
