Ambroise Bourg is on the Wall of Names at the Acadian Memorial in St. Martinville, Louisiana Plaque 12 Left, La Ville d'Arcangel. Listed with Ambroise is his wife Marie Modeste Moulaison and nine of their children: Marie Victoire, Modeste Aimee, Magdelaine, Julie Therese, Isabelle, Joseph, Pelagie, Modeste and Ambroise.[1]

Marie Victoire Bourg, the first child of 2nd marriage of Ambroise Bourg and Marie Modeste Moulaison was, born 28 May 1764 and baptized the same day at Notre-Dame of Le Havre, Seine-Maritime [France]. [2]On 12 Aug 1785 with parents and 8 siblings she departed from France on the ship "La Ville D'Archangel," which arrived in Louisiana on 3 Dec 1785.[3]


Her parents were Ambroise Bourg and Marie Modeste Moulaison[4]
