Biography

Charles Bourgeois was born about 1695 in Acadia. On February 16 1718 he married Madeleine Cormier, daughter of Alexis and Marie LeBlanc.[1][2] They had the following married children:

m 1746-02-14 PIERRE Beaubassin MARIE RICHARD

m 1764-01-09 CLAUDE St-Pierre-et-Miquelon MARIE VIGNEAU

m 1762-02-17 JEAN BAPTISTE Bécancour MARIE ELISABETH PRINCE

Charles Bourgeois, widower of Magdeleine Cormier married Louise Marie Bourg 10 July 1741 at Beaubassin. Witnesses: Jean Terriot; Jacques Bourg; Henri Lhostellier; Joseph Brossard, all inhabitants of this parish [Beaubassin].[3]

Charles died before 28 October 1754.
