Biography
Venant was born on March 22, 1843 in Plateau, Nova Scotia. He was a son of Eustache Bourgeois and Domithilde (Chiasson) Bourgeois.[1]
He married Marie Aimée (dit Corrie) Deveau on November 8, 1865 in Salmon River. She was a daughter of Charles Deveaux and Elizabeth (Lelievre) Deveaux.[2]
Venant passed away on November 15, 1926 in Chéticamp at the age of 83. He was interred at Chéticamp.[1]
