Guy was the son of Guillaume I de Bourgogne, Count of Burgundy and Etiennette Barcelona.
He was elected pope on 2 February 1119 and crowned on 9 February 1119 taking the name Callixtus II.[1]
Guy passed away on either the 13 or 14th December 1124.[1][2]
