Richard Bourke was born in Ireland.

Richard/Rickard was born in about 1645. He was the youngest son of John Bourke and Catherine Fay.

He graduated with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.). He lived at Palmerston, County Kildare, Ireland and at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.

Rickard married Catherine Minchin (the daughter of Colonel Charles Minchin and Elizabeth Walcot of Ballynakill).

He passed away in 1727.
