John Wallis Bourn was born in September 1927, his father, Wallis Bourn, was 26 and his mother, Evelyn, was 24. He married Elizabeth Mason in June 1960. They had three children during their marriage. He died on 20 June 2007 in Market Rasen, Lincolnshire, England at the age of 79
