Biography

Talitha Bourne was born about 1830, daughter of Martin and Sally Bourne.^[1]

She married Tivis Hale by 1855 when their daughter Amelia was born.

In 1860, Telitha Hale was living in a Bourne household (her mother Sarah?) with her three daughters, but without Tivis.^[2]

She married Charles J Hale on Nov 17, 1864 in Grayson, Virginia.^[3]

In 1870, she is enumerated with spouse Charles Hale. In addition to the three children she had by Tivis before 1860, living with Charles and Taletha are additional Hale children.^[4]

Talitha and Charles Hale are man and wife in the 1880 census with some of the same children from the previous census.^[5]

Talitha passed away in 1915 at Elk Creek, Grayson, Virginia.^[6]
