Biography
This profile is part of the Bourque Name Study.
Jean-Chrysostôme Bourg was born in Acadie on 9 May 1761.[1] He was the son of Jean Bourg and Marie Arseneau.
He married Marie Hébert, daughter of Paul Hébert and Marguerite Arsenault, about 1782.[1] Their children were:
- Bénoni Bourque (~1784–1828)
- Urbain Bourque (~1791–1808)
- Rosalie Bourque (~1793–1886)
- Marie Bourque (~1797–1880)
- Thomas Bourque (1800–1892)
- Anne Bourque (1803–1887)
- Jean Bourque (1807–1890)
He died in Cocagne on 24 Feb 1825 and his funeral ceremony was on 13 Mar 1825 in Grande-Digue.[2][3] His age noted in the parish register was about 65 years, the husband of Marie Hebert.
