Jean Baptiste Bourque was born & baptized 4 Aug 1771 in L'Assomption, son of Joseph Bourque and of Marguerite Mirault, godparents (scarcely legible) the godmother is noted as his first cousin; [1]
Jean Baptiste Bourc married Marie Longpré, daughter of Pascal Longpré and of Marie Desanges Pépin, on 22 November 1803 in L'Assomption.[2]
11 known children to the couple, of which 2 died young and 9 married. They were established in L'Assomption.[1]
Jean Baptiste Bourque, husband of Marie Longpré, died on 16 Sept 1850 and was buried on the 18th in L'Assomption, the record giving him 80 years of age.[3]
