Jan Hubertus Hendrik Bours was born on February 14, 1843 in Oud-Valkenburg, Limburg, Nederland, son of Jan Willem Bours (1807–1877) and Anna Maria Prevoo (1806–1881).
Jan (29) married Maria Hubertina Damoisseau (27) (born on October 25, 1844 in Oud-Valkenburg; daughter of Joannes Damoiseau) on September 2, 1872 in Oud-Valkenburg.[1] Their children were:
- Hendrik Bours (1874–>1874)
- Egidius Bours (1876–>1876)
- Joannes Bours (1877–1948)
- Maria Phelomina Bours (1878–>1878)
- Paulus Hubertus Bours (1879–>1879)
- Maria Helena Bours (1883–1968)
Jan died about 1912, aged about 69.
