Edward was born in 1841. He was the son of Thomas Bouvé and Emily Lincoln. He passed away in 1920.

He served in the Civil War as a lieutenand in the 32d Massachusetts Infantry from June, 1862 to December, when he became a captain of the 4th Massachusetts Cavalry. In 1865 he was commissioned major of the 25th New York Callvary. He was a member of the Military Order of Loyal Legion of Boston and at one time was historian of the order.

Author of a science fiction book, "Centuries apart" published in 1894.

"Merchant" at Boston. Besides on Lincoln Street, Hingham.
