JAMES O. BOWEN

James O. Bowen, 34, of Raleigh, Route 1, died unexpectedly early Friday morning in his home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 3 p.m., from Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Ray Fuller, the Rev. Herman McAlpin and the Rev. Mr. Kegwood officiating.

Burial will be in Merchants Cemetery.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Myrtis Bowen; one son, James Larry Bowen, and one daughter, Nancy Annette Bowen, all of Raleigh, Route 1; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Bowen, Raleigh; three brothers, Otis Bowen, Crystal Springs; Oree Bowen and Olen Bowen, both of Raleigh; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Webb, Mrs. Gertrude Hall and Mrs. Gladys Huffmaster, all of Raleigh; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Memory Chapel is in charge.[3]
