Son of Alfred Jackson BOWEN & Ann Elizabeth "Annie Eliza" WILLIAMS. Husband of Maggie HOLLAND (daughter of Asberry H. HOLLAND & Anna A. COLMAN) William Wright & Maggie raised their family on a farm near Maggie's father, and in later years the family moved to and lived in Savannah, Georgia (Chatham County, Georgia).[1]
William Wright Bowen's parents are interred in Ephesus Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Bulloch County, Georgia.[2]

WILLIAM WRIGHT BOWEN was born in Bulloch County, the son of Alfred Jackson Bowen, SR. and Ann Elizabeth "Annie Eliza" Williams. He was the fourth child in a large family of thirteen children in a farming community known, at that time, as the Adabelle Community. He had seven sisters and five brothers.[3]
