Hello, Rodney,

It has been a few weeks since we contacted you about your participation in the Black Sheep Project and as we haven't heard from you, we are following up to make sure you wish to remain a member.

We understand that interests shift as we grow our shared tree and that some members may have moved on to projects more pertinent to the branches they are currently building. If this is the case for you, please let us know.

If we do not hear back from you within the week, we will assume you have moved on to other things for the moment and remove you from the project. Please know that you will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction.

Thank you so much for your participation; we genuinely appreciate it.

Hello Rodney,

On behalf of the Project Black Sheep Leaders, we are doing a six-month check-in with members. Please let me know, by commenting on my profile or sending a private message, if you are still active in the project, and if so, how you have contributed to the main project or a sub-project within the last two months.

All of us at WikiTree would like to thank you for your contributions and hope that you are enjoying exploring your roots.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Percy-857 and Piersey-2 appear to represent the same person because: source i found shows spelling as Persey, but "Piersey" in quote from will, so go with Piersey-2

<snip> [deleted information/discussion about information in Virginia Magazine - added it to profile]. This merge should be completed, since Percy-857 is completely unsourced, Piersey-2 needs to be kept as is. When we cannot delete a profile made in error, we need to make the merges to keep Wikitree the best tree possible.

I have tried for about 10 years to get passed my Andrew Colley brick wall in South Carolina for a while now. I have tried YDNA in Family Tree to see if I could make connections. I am about 13 generations removed from a McColley member. I have also used:

That has a lot of references.

My grandfather John Kennedy (on my father's side) was born in Glasgow & my great-grandmother Margaret Stewart (on my mother's side) was also born in Scotland, I am not sure where.. I am still researching :)

What is your interest? This is not the Famous Lee Line. There are several DNA matches according to Wiki that the profile is correct and when you run their kits in GedMatch they match up Joh son of Richard. You are using data that is at least 10 years old. Get current info.
posted by Loretta (Leger) Corbin
If you would go to the Lee DNA Project, you could see for yourself that John Lee is unrelated to Richard Lee. The yDNA results are conclusive: There is no relationship between these two people, so I would appreciate if you would not make the unfounded link. Thank you.
