Married Dulcie May Ascough an Australian in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, on 23 September 1944 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Brisbane and she was one of the many American War Brides who returned to live in America.
He finally settled in Brisbane after his discharge; and obtained the position of Red Cross truck driver; in and around Brisbane.
Death occurred in Brisbane on 14 April 1978; cremated at Albany Creek, Brisbane on 14 April.
