Rosa[1] Bowman was born on 25 January 1874 in Botetourt County, Virginia, the sixth of eight known children and the second of three daughters of George and Elizabeth Calperna Snyder Bowman.
On 30 May 1900, when she was twenty-six, she married Charles Kinzie.
In 1910 she lived in Troutville, Botetourt County, Virginia.
On 27 June 1950, when she was seventy-six, she died in Troutville, Botetourt County, of unknown causes.

And eight grandchildren. Funeral was held Wednesday at 2:30 at the Troutville Church of the Brethren by the Rev De Witt Miller. Interment was in the Daleville Cemetery.
