Mrs. Ida Jane Hurd. 719 Washington Avenue Ave.. Wellsville, a potter. suddenly of a heart attack Friday about 8 a.m. while at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Corak, 480 Penn.Ave., Midland. She was 65. She was the daughter of Anthony Bowman and Ann Bell Bowman and was employed as a waredresser at the Sterling China Co. She was a member of the Central Methodist Church of Wellsville and IBOP Local 24. She leaves another daughter. Mrs. Frances Wright of L a k e- wood, Calif.; a son, Clyde Hurd of Wellsville; a sister, Mrs. Clara Hurd of Wellsville; four brothers, Oscar Spears and Len Spears, both of Wellsville and Otmer Spears and Russel Spears, both of Columbus, and 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be held Monday pm at the Haugh Funeral William Hewitt. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in Wellsville. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday.
