Mary was born in 1860.[1]
In 1879 she married Albert Benjamin Burman.[2]
She passed away in 1943.[3]
Her obituary reads Mrs. M. E. Burman. The death took place on Tuesday last, at her home at Bondi, Sydney, of Mrs. M. E. Burman, relict of the late Albert Burman, retired police officer. The Burman family lived for many years in Hay. and Sergeant Burman was a particularly smart mounted policeman. He retired over twenty years ago and the family afterwards went to Sydney to reside. Mr. Burman died some six years back. Mrs. Burman was one of the local war workers in the last World War, and old friends will hear of her death with regret.
Mrs. Burman is survived by two daughters (Mrs. A. Camper,. Bondi, and Mrs G. F. Allman. Mosman), and three sons (Arthur, Hurstville; Stewart, Bondi; and Randolph, Hay) Stewart and Randolph served in the last war. Mrs. Burman was 80 years of age.[4]
