Biography
Sarah Bowman was born about 1815 in North Carolina. She married Benjamin Merritt about 1833, possibly in Mississippi based on the birth location of some of their children. Benjamin's first 5 children were born from this marriage. Sarah died in about 1844 in Mississippi.
