Mary married George Irving on September 14, 1904 in Rexton, Kent, New Brunswick[5]. They had one child together:
By 1911, Mary and George had relocated to Vancouver, British Columbia. Their household consisted of George Irving, a grocer; his wife Mary; and their daughter Margaret[7].
Mary, George, and their daughter Margaret were still living in Vancouver during the 1921 census[8].
Mary died on August 30, 1924 in Point Grey, Vancouver, British Columbia at the age of fifty-four[1]. According to her obituary, she had been ill for two years, and her health rapidly declined in her last month of life. Funeral services were held September 2, and her body was sent east to be interred in the family plot at Rexton, New Brunswick[9].
