Mary was born 25 December 1853 or 1854 in Canada. She passed away in 1920.

Research Notes

Birth - year varies. 1900 Census - December 1853, Note from "Wilkinson Bible" December 25, 1854; Death record 25 December 1854; Grave marker 1854.

1900 Census - mother of 8 children 7 of whom are living. Eunice born in 1892 appears to have died prior to the census. No immigration year given.

1910 Census - mother of 10 children 7 of whom are living. There appears to be an error somewhere as this would indicate two children born and died between 1900 and 1910, but Mary was 47 in 1900. Unless two children had died earlier and were not included in the count in 1900?

It also gives immigration year as 1872. Her marital status is "D" - divorced however she is living with Hiram's parents.

Death Record - gives birth date as 25 December 1854. Both parents are listed as "unknown" and her marital status is divorced from Hiram Wilkinson. Buried in Greenwood Cemetery. Son Frank was the informant.
