Biography

Thoughts: Isaac III and his wife Deborah Boyd Bennett had several children. His daughter Caroline fell out of a wagon as an adult and died 4 days later. His son Otis' 7 children all died before age 9, except one! His son Charles B. Bennett became a doctor. One of his grandchildren Charles Sumner Bennett became a jeweler and an optometrist; he was the son of Dr. Charles B. Bennett. Charles Sumner Bennett was the jeweler, optometrist, town clerk for Guilford for many years. Isaac's wife Deborah died 20 some years before Isaac died. A long time to be a widower. His wife is believed to have been a Penobscot Indian per family stories. This is one of my 3rd Great Grandfathers. Per Donna Cator
