G W Boyd and Fannie Kate Root married February 17, 1909, in Angelina, Texas.[3] In 1918 they still lived at 718 South 15th Street in Corsicana Ward 2 and he was a collector for the telephone company.[4] In 1918 they still lived at 718 South 15th Street in Corsicana and he was the tax assessor and collector for the City of Corsicana.[5] In 1920 they farmed on Sherman Bonham Road.[6] In 1930 they owned a $7,500 home at 1423 2nd Avenue and George was a deputy at the tax collector's office.[7]
Mr. Boyd died from cardiac decompensation April 12, 1952, at his home in Corsicana.[8] He was buried at Oakwood Cemetery, Corsicana, Navarro County, Texas.[9] In 1940 he was an accountant.[10][11]
