Abraham was born 4 May 1810 in Armstrong Co., Pennsylvania, USA to Henry Boyd (1780–1864) and Margaret B. Beer (1782–1868). ^[1] He married Maria Belinda Hover ^[2] on 9 Mar 1837 in Allen Township, Union, Ohio. ^[3]
