Biography

William Jesse Boyd born 1770 in Franklin County, Virginia was the child of William Boyd and Nancy Bailey. He married Miss Sarah Newberry, daughter of William Newberry and Jane Worley on 23 March 1805 in Franklin, Virginia. There are three known sons of this marriage:

John Jackson Boyd b.1815 d. 1886 Jessie P. Boyd b.1823 d. 1885 Newberry Thomas Boyd b.1825 d. 1878

William Jesse Boyd died in March of 1845. He is buried in the William Boyd Family Cemetery in Franklin, Virginia.

He married Sarah Sally Newberry in Franklin, Virginia, on March 23, 1805.[1]
